Be very careful. The are currently being investigated for running my credit card after I left and saying they had someone on video using it. When I said I would send police to review tape they said it wasn't necessary and that they would refund me. To please not get the cops on involved. They had not such tape. The son Jay "manager" was the one who did it tape date 3 days after we left. Be careful and only pay cash.
The rates were reasonable, and I was happy about that as well. I often think about my stay there, and I certainly would like to stay there again in the future. When I departed from there, I certainly felt like I made some new friends so much so that I am looking forward to my return visit. I sincerely wish them success on completing their renovations. The small town setting of this motel was another nice feature. I was plenty capable of getting a good night sleep. If you want a motel where the staff considers you as number 1, then this is your place.
I was very surprised to learn they have jacuzzi suits. The rooms were very clean and the staff was great, they fulfilled all my requests very promptly. They have all necessary amenities as well as being centrally located near gas stations, stores, bars, and coffee shops overall my visit was very pleasant.
This motel was exactly what I needed. When I stayed there last Summer of 2017, I was very impressed on how much the staff strived for me to be satisfied. During that time frame, they were in the process of renovating this motel as it had recently been converted into a Motel 6. I enjoyed talking with the staff because they were so nice. They are obviously very dedicated to making this motel as a comfortable place for people to stay. Any needs that I brought up were quickly met.
The family that owns and runs the Motel 6 in Ilion NY was wonderfully warm' caring. conscientious and hard-working. I felt welcomed as though I was a guest in their home, not just a customer of a national motel chain. The complimentary bottle of cold water and can of Pepsi they offered me were a refreshing end to a long drive. The room was clean, the bed and bedding supportive and comfortable, the bathroom crisp and clean. I felt so comfortable that I stayed a second night. I would recommend this fine Motel 6 to anyone who is looking for a basic, economical, comfortable motel. An excellent value for $54.00. Sincerely, Luann M. Casey
Manager was extremely helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and had everything we needed, including an unexpected microwave and fridge. The grounds were not very appealing due to renovations being done, but the room was newly renovated and so in very good condition.
